Titanic: Honor and Glory – Demo 3 – Cafe Parisien
Before Titanic was launched, it was originally meant to have a promenade deck (an area somewhat open to the outside with a wood deck for passengers to stroll and relax in the open air) all the way along either side of B Deck. During fitting-out, however, it was decided to make some improvements to Titanic from observations made on Olympic. This included extending stateroom outboard, make them larger and allowing more smaller inboard cabins, while preserving two sections of promenade as private promenades for two new suites, enlarging the Restaurant and adding a reception room for it, and turning another section of the promenade into a whole new room, called the Cafe Parisien. Decorated with trellises and fake vines with light wood and wicker furniture, the Cafe was a place for passengers to take light meals and drinks while feeling as if they were sitting at a sidewalk cafe in Paris.
